Don Haywood is a key leader of Grace Baptist Church . Not only is he the Chairman of our Deacons Board, but he also heads up both the Finance and Missions and Evangelism committees. If that wasn't enough, Don is also the fearless leader of a small group that meets in Wayland, NY.
Don owns and operates the Amish Workshop, a quality furniture and storage shed company, in Springwater, NY, where he also has served as Town Justice for decades. His degrees in finance and business administration combine with his vast experience in business and community involvement to make Don an extremely valuable deacon.
Most importantly, Don's business experience has taught him how to fully rely on the Lord - a lesson that he regularly shares with the congregation that he is called to lead and serve.
The secret to Don's success is his wonderful wife Brenda, who also serves as the Church Secretary. Don and Brenda have been married for 50 years, and together they have 3 grown children and 6 grandchildren.
